Hey, guys. After three long years, it’s time for a fresh start. And by that, I mean a new blog. Thank you to the 1000+ followers who have stuck by me through crazy schedules and drifts of depression. I won’t be deleting this blog and will come back to it everytime a wave of nostalgia hits me. Again, thank you and I really will miss this blog.
If interested, here’s my new blog: Aurore.

For my Campus Journalism class…
Luis Suarez of Liverpool FC has been accused and found guilty of racially abusing rival player Patrice Evra of Manchester United during their 1-1 draw at Anfield last October 16, 2011. Suarez has been said to have used the word “negro” five times during an argument with Evra on the pitch.
Suarez will be sidelined due to the eight-match ban handed to him by the Football Association (FA). In the FA’s 115-page report of the incident’s findings, the FA went on to say that Suarez has “damaged the image of English football around the world”. Suarez remains firm in his claims of innocence, with Liverpool showing their support.
Despite having the club’s support, Liverpool have decided not to appeal to the ban given to Suarez “to stamp out racism in every form, inside and outside the sport”, stating further that “for this reason that [Liverpool] will not appeal the eight-game suspension of Luis Suarez”. They have reiterated their support for Suarez, maintaining their belief on his innocence.
